A fine opportunity for the serious Smith & Wesson collector: this is an early Model 37 (no dash) Airweight Chief’s Special, presented in like-new condition.
Introduced in the 1950s, the Model 37 was the lightweight alloy-frame version of the iconic Chief’s Special, designed for discreet carry and dependable defense. This particular revolver features the classic blued finish paired with factory walnut grips, both exceptionally well-preserved.
As an early production no-dash model, this revolver was manufactured before Smith & Wesson began engineering frames for +P pressure ammunition. It should be fired with standard .38 Special loads only, adding to its appeal as a collector-grade revolver rather than a modern carry gun.
