This pre-lock Model 27-2 is in excellent condition with an beautiful bore! This classic revolver features an 8 3/8" pinned barrel, and a 6 round recessed cylinder. Lockup is tight and timing is on.

The Smith & Wesson Model 27 is the original .357 Magnum revolver. It was first produced in 1935, and many versions of it are still in production today. The Model 27 was built on Smith & Wesson's carbon steel, large N-frame. Starting out simply as "The .357 Magnum" in 1935, the big Smith .357 became the Model 27 in the middle 1950s.

This beautiful piece has combat style N frame grips and a deep rich blued finish throughout. A long 8 3/8'' barrel and target sights adorn this revolver. The original .357 Magnum, the 27-2 is a showpiece and is guaranteed to be a centerpiece of any Smith & Wesson collection. The checkered top strap goes along the entire length of the barrel and a wide flat target hammer makes this piece easy to shoot.
